WHAT IT IS

Native to South Africa, the Geranium is a perennial shrub with small pink flowers and pointy leaves. Out of the many varieties of the plant, Pelargonium graveolens is the source of the essential oil which is extracted through steam distillation using the aromatic green parts of the plant, especially the leaves.

Geranium oil has a floral, fresh, heavy sweet scent with a fruity rosy note.

 

WHERE DO WE GET IT FROM

Our Geranium Essential oil comes from Egypt and is certified organic by the soil Association.

 

WHY IS IT SO GOOD

The oil possesses potent astringent, antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, cicatrisant (helps to fade and clear scar tissue) cytophylactic (promotes healthy cell growth) and diuretic properties.
